Get ready Wanda Maximoff fans! A new image from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has revealed something of a new look for Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch. 

Wanda Maximoff has quickly become one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the Marvel landscape’s most beloved supporting heroes for some time, MCU fans have been calling for more involvement from the character since she first arrived in 2015, and that finally came earlier this year with WandaVision.

She will be back on screens in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, with Elizabeth Olsen of course reprising her role.

Now, a new official image from the Doctor Strange sequel’s merchandise, along with the movie’s first trailer, has given us our first look at the movie.

A new image from a Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness lego set has surfaced online, giving fans the first image of Elizabeth Olsen’s return as Wanda Maximoff.

This image comes after some merchandise promo artwork surfaced online last month (which can be viewed here in a tweet), giving fans the first real promotional material from the movie.

That artwork featured Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange front and center, utilising his mystical abilities. Behind him is Wong (Benedict Wong) and the first look at Xochitl Gomez in the role of America Chavez/Miss America, while Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch looms over the trio at the top.

While the official one remains a little unclear, you can get a better glimpse at the pic in the form of an incredible fan poster by Instagram user marveldsign, which brings the merchandise image to life in colorful fashion.

It also sees her showcasing her powers, with her glowing red hands making the beloved Scarlet Witch look even more intimidating than ever.

All of these images sent the internet into meltdown for multiple reasons, with fans quick to point out Wanda’s new hairstyle and how the artwork’s decision to position her above everyone might confirm the theory of her being the movie’s villain. She does look quite ominous up there in last month’s promo art, doesn’t she?!

Regardless, we’re all excited to see her return in what is sure to be another epic MCU installment!
