Wednesday night is a statement game. The Memphis Grizzlies (28-14) have won nine games in a row and are surging up the Western Conference standings. The Golden State Warriors remain tied for first and want to flex their muscle.

The Warriors (30-9) were the last team to beat the Grizzlies, when they defeated Memphis 113-104 at the Chase Center. Wednesday's game will be at the FedExForum.

Draymond Green will be out for Golden State, but Klay Thompson is back for the first time in two and a half seasons. Ja Morant and Desmond Bane are among the Grizzlies who weren't in the NBA the last time Thompson played the Grizzlies. 

Steven Adams was listed as questionable due to being in health and safety protocols, but he was downgraded to out.

Also, there's the point guard battle. Stephen Curry is the MVP favorite, but no one has played better than Morant over the past two weeks. Morant's teammates believe he is the best point guard in the NBA, which is a title most NBA fans have given Curry. 

The Grizzlies and Warriors have split their last two meetings. Both came at Golden State, so Memphis has one more home against the Warriors in March.
