Ja Morant becomes the first player this year to win the 'Player of the Week' award in a row
Ja Morant, once again, won the "Western Conference Player of the Week" award for the second consecutive week.
Last week, in four games, Morant averaged 25 points, 6.8 assists, 6.3 rebounds and tackles a game, while shooting from distance 51.4% with 18 attempts per game. Through this stellar performance, he delivered some special moments on the way to a 5-0 win over the Memphis Grizzlies last week. He soared down the runway for a thunderous collision with the Brooklyn Nets. During a great outing in Cleveland, he hits his previous goal and commits a massive heist to seal the game. In the game against the Lakers, he netted the internet with a bonkers chase, and he also threw down an alleyway reverberating with noise with his eyes on the belt.
This week is just an antidote to what has been a spectacular season for the third-year keeper. We're seeing something special here, people.
Don't forget to vote for Ja Morant as an All-Star starter.
