MIAMI - Dolphin wide receiver Jaylen Waddle set an NFL rookie record for receptions in a single season in Sunday's 33-24 win over the New England Patriots, reeling in a 102nd catch in fourth play of the game.
Anquan Boldin previously held this record, set in 2003, when he caught 101 1,377-foot passes and eight touchdowns in 16 games against the Arizona Cardinals.

He finished with five catches for 27 yards on Sunday, his 16th game of the season.
Waddle and Boldin became the only rookie in NFL history to have 100 catches. He also became the second Dolphins recipient to hit 100 catches in a season after Jarvis Landry.
